Tony Ker
Tony Ker heads up the 18 Elite team this year. A five time All-American and three time gold medalist at the club level Tony was one of the best club players to hit the scene over his five year career. A four time starter at Valencia high school with two CIF championships (2003, 2004) and two CIF MVP awards (2003, 2004) under his belt, Tony brings a winning knowledge and experience to Legacy. During his years in high school Tony was chosen to represent the USA on the Youth National Team in 2002 and was selected as the best libero in North America. In 2004 he represented the USA on the Junior National Team and was again selected as the best libero in North America. That team qualified for the World Games and Tony was ranked 2nd in the world in passing and digging stats. At UCLA Tony was a four time All-American, three time defensive player of the year and won the NCAA Title in 2006. He currently holds the NCAA Div I record for "most digs in a career." After his stint as a collegiate player Tony went on to play for the US National team and then professionally overseas in Kuwait. Upon his return, he was asked to be the First Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at NCAA Division 1 Cal State University of Bakersfield. After two seasons at the collegiate level Tony was hired back to be the Operations Supervisor and one the the lead instructors for Legacy Volleyball.
