Greg Harasymowycz
Greg Harasymowycz started playing volleyball in Buffalo, NY, where he played at Sweet Home high school, earning several all region and all state team honors.
After graduating high school in 1995, he played volleyball in college at the University of La Verne for the 1995-96 season, and at Cal State Northridge from 1997-2000, where he transferred, playing for John Price (1997) and Jeff Campbell (1998-2000). During his playing career at Cal State Northridge, he had the privilege of playing for assistant coaches, Coley Kyman (3 time NCAA first team all American), Bob Samuelson (Bronze medal winner, 1992 Olympics) and Mike Sealy (Head Coach for the women's volleyball program at UCLA).
Greg began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for the Men's Volleyball program at Cal State Northridge in 2003 under Jeff Campbell. He coached another five years (2004-2008) at Cal State Northridge as an assistant coach.
After the 2008 season, Greg began coaching for the Men's Volleyball program at UCLA in 2009, under Al Scates as a volunteer assistant coach, a position he currently holds.
Previous to Legacy, Greg coached at the club level during the 2007 season as an assistant coach for the Pali 18-1 team, where the team earned a silver medal in the open division at the Junior Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.
Greg is excited to be coaching at Legacy stating, "The organization and advanced learning environment for both the athletes and coaches is outstanding. Coach Ker and his cadre of coaches are well trained and are enthusiastic teachers. I am excited to learn from the great coaches and teach the athletes here at Legacy."
