Taking home the award for most teams ever coached at Legacy Volleyball is Brandon Pank. A 23 year old self proclaimed "full time coach" for Legacy, Brandon is one of the top coaches and best teachers we have. His wonderful talents continue to be recognized by many as Brandon was just hired as the head coach of the womens volleyball program at Alemany High School. When asked Brandon said, "I am very excited for the opportunity to build a program of my own, implementing a system that is geared towards the development of athletes who are both physically and mentally superior at a young age so we may compete at the highest level possible"
As an athlete, Brandon continues to have a successful career. He was a starter for his high school's varsity volleyball team, Canyon High School, for 3 years and during his junior and senior year, he was awarded All League First Team honors. Brandon played 4 years of club volleyball for Walt Ker at Synergy volleyball club, earning 3 Junior Olympic medals. Brandon is currently playing for Pierce College's Volleyball Team as middle blocker.
A recent graduate of California State University Northridge with a Bachelors Degree of fine Art, he continues on with his education to obtain his teaching credentials and Masters degree in education.
In addition to coaching club volleyball he has coached at the high school and college level. Brandon was the head junior varsity coach for Notre Dame high school for the '07/'08 school year and the assistant varsity coach for West Ranch High School for the '08/'09 school year. Currently, Brandon is working as a volunteer assistant coach for Bobby Blanken at The Master's College and is the head coach of four of Legacy's teams, 17s & 14s girls, 15s boys, and the girl's developmental team. Brandon is one of four of Walt's previous players who has been a part of the coaching staff at Legacy Volleyball Club since its inception. He has coached 9 Legacy Teams thus far. In 2008, he was the assistant coach of the 15-1's boys team that won the gold medal at the Junior Olympics. He has been the lead instructor for Legacy's girls developmental team all three years, with much success, and is one of the few coaches at Legacy who offers private lessons.
