Aaron Simon
Aaron Simon is returning to Legacy Volleyball Club for his 3rd season. He is serving as the Head Coach for the Girls 14-2, Girls 15-3 and Boys Developmental teams. Currently Aaron is the assistant coach at Los Angeles Mission College in Sylmar which has just finished its inaugural season with head coach Adam Kaminsky. Coach Simon served as a referee for the San Fernando Valley Volleyball Officials for high school and college level boys and girls matches. He also served as a line referee for the CA State Championship Semi-final match in 2010. Aaron has coached five teams over the last two seasons at Legacy Volleyball Club including Head Coach of Boys 14 & under, Boys 15 & assisted on the girls 15-1s and 17-Blue. Along with coaching Aaron has attended many hours of coaches clinics and has watch hundreds of hours of Coaching Director/Owner Walt Ker's private lessons.
As an athlete Aaron played on the winning Chatsworth High School Varsity Boys Volleyball team in 2004 and 2005. He was the starting defensive specialist and captain on the 2005 City Championship Team. He was also selected to represent Chatsworth High for the city-wide All Star Team.
In his free time Aaron volunteers his time at Temple Ramat Zion. He has built a food pantry and serves on 2 committees.
